I bought an XBOX 4GB in US. I brought it to Chennai, India. Unaware of the voltage differences, I plugged in and the Fuse of my room went off. In US the Voltage is 110V and in india it's 220V. So I called up Microsoft helpline and explained the scneario. They asked for the serial no of console. They verified in database and have promised me to replace with new Indian version power brick for Free. Please let me know if you need any details.
I received the Power brick for free. Microsoft rocks. The console works fine.
